On March 13, the VTB branch in Volgograd held a workshop for corporate clients representing medium business. The topic of the workshop was “Leasing for Regional Enterprises”
March 13, 2008. The Volgograd branch, in cooperation with VTB-Leasing, held a workshop the topic of which was “Leasing for Regional Enterprises”. Heads of more than 30 corporate clients representing large and medium business of the Volgograd Region, representatives of municipal and region-level authorities, regional branch of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and business community took part in the workshop.
The event was opened by Andrei Gavrilenko, manager of the branch.
In his introductory word, he emphasized that opportunities offered by lease financing will help enterprises of the region solve challenging problems associated with search for and attraction of long-term investments for expansion of production, acquisition of up-to-date equipment, and introduction of novel technologies.
Eduard Gorbachevsky, expert with the Department for Development and Coordination of Corporate Business of Subsidiary Finance Institutes, made a report on key features of financing leasing transactions by Bank VTB.
Andrei Ivanov, Director of VTB-Leasing’s Department for Regional Business Development, and Alexander Zakharov, Executive Director of VTB-Leasing’s Regional Subdivision in Krasnodar, made a presentation “Leasing: Opportunities and Advantages. Financing of Leasing Transactions by the VTB Group”. A substantial attention in the presentation was paid to advantages of leasing operations, as well as VTB-Leasing’s capabilities to offer ultimately convenient terms of financing to its customers.
As a result of the event, a number of arrangements were concluded with some attendees of the workshop in the course follow-up individual meetings for the purpose of discussing opportunities for implementation of specific projects.
